Citizen Art at Carnival

I've not had a lot of time to post recently, but as the Notting Hill Carnival was at the end of August, thought Id stick up a few photos of what they'd been doing with the security hoardings this year.

It's a more and more common sight that stores will get a local graffiti artist to paint their security shutters, but I'd never seen the practice transferred to the heavy boarding that's put up over most store fronts during the carnival. It was fantastic, and made a real difference to the atmosphere, Im sure.

These guys were, as the vernacular states, awesome.
